What to Expect

We are delighted to have you visit our church website. It has been my privilege to serve as the Pastor of Wayside Baptist Church for over 25 years. What a joy it has been to serve God with my wife and five children. Our heart-felt prayer is for people to know the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and become actively involved in a Bible-believing, Bible-preaching church that cares for them. We make no apology for strong preaching, sound doctrine, and devotion to the Lord Jesus Christ and His Word. I pray that you will find Wayside Baptist Church to be the right fit for you and your family. We look forward to seeing you there!

  • Where are you located?

    We are located five minutes from interstate 85 on Highway 70. We are an easy drive from Durham, Chapel Hill and Mebane.

    Service Times: 

    Sundays: 

    Sunday School: 10:30AM

    Main Service & Kid's Club: 11AM

    Evening Service: 5PM


    Wednesdays: 7PM 

  • What type of church are you?

    We are an independent, fundamental, Bible-believing, Baptist church.

    Our services have a warm, family friendly atmosphere with soul-stirring singing and rich Bible preaching. Make plans to join us!

  • Do you offer programs for children?

    Yes, we are a family friendly church and do our best to invest in the lives of our little ones.


    We have several different classes for young people from Beginners to High school.

    We send out buses every Sunday throughout the area.
