Soul-Winning

A hand knocking on a dark brown wooden door.

"But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth." ~ Acts 1:8

We get together as a church family and participate in soul-winning. We would love for you to come join us as we reach our community!

However, soul-winning should not be just a scheduled event. It should be just like our heartbeat - continual. The heartbeat of God is saving souls. His love is the greatest love. As Christians, if we love Jesus, we will do His will and be fishermen for souls on a daily basis.

John 15:13-14 "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you."

Jesus Christ paid the price for all to be set free.

1Timothy 2:6 "Who gave himself a ransom for all..."

Luke 19:10 "For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost."

We all must be willing to go and tell somebody of God's great love.

Romans 10:14 "How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?"

Let's go soul-winning!

Nursing Home Ministry

"Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:" ~ Philippians 1:6

Every second and fourth Sunday of the Month we have nursing home services. We are honored to be able to minister to these precious people with encouraging words, classic hymns, and Bible preaching.

"And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me." ~ Matthew 25:40

We have been blessed to support and work with the Durham Rescue Mission since its beginning. They are making a difference in the lives of thousands.
